Hostel Facilities

   A separate hostel building for girls and boys withavailability of every generally in each room separate bed and cupboard facility. Bathroom and toilet are attached in room which maintained regularly by cleaning staff.Hostel having facilities like solar water heater,water cooler,RO water and daily newspaper facilities.

Mess Facilities

Mess is near to the hostel and is managed by contractive basis .There separate time for every year student for lunch and dinner.Food is very tasty and healthy and charge is very affordable.

Forum Facilities

Our college has established”shrisant Shankar maharaj college of agriculture forum” for the student .The forum provide environment to the student for the study .The forum is of immense use specially for the student making preparation for post graduate entrance examination on all india basis conducted by ICAR new delhi , MCAER punemaharastra and other competativelike MPSC , UPSC and Staff selection examination for this library contain more than 300 books .

Sport Facilities

A large playground for outdoor games like kho-kho ,kabbaddi, volleyboll , athelitics is available in the college premises .Facilities for indoor games like badminton chess is also available .The college has made remarkable progress insports.Large number of students represents the college and university every year.

Well-equipped GYM is available in college campus. Our college provides this facility were student go to physical exercise and get fit. A place typically a club providing range of facility design to improve and maintain physical fitness and health.

The College has been running National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) since 2011 .The total strength of N.S.S. Volunteers allotted to this colleges is 50 . The regular programmeareorganized every year in rural areas to render valuable national service and arrange the cultural programmes for social awareness.

GRIEVANCES

PREVENTION OF CASTE BASED DISCRIMINATION IN SHRI SHANKAR MAHARAJ COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, PIMPALKHUTA

As per UGC order, our college has developed a page on website for lodging complaints of caste-based discrimination by SC/ST/OBC students. A complaints register is also placed in college library for the purpose. If such incidents are reported, a stringent action will be taken. Our college ensures that no faculty members indulge in any kind of discrimination against any community of students.

UGC Guidelines-

• The Official/Faculty members should desist from any act of discrimination against SC/ST/OBC Students on grounds of their social origin.
• The Universities/College may develop a page on their website for lodging such complaints of caste discrimination by SC/ST/OBC students and also place a complaint register in the Registrar/Principal Office for the purpose. If any such incident comes to the notice of the authorities, action should be taken against the erring official/faculty members promptly.
• The University and colleges should ensure that no official/faculty members indulge in any kind of discrimination against any community or category of students.
• The University may constitute a committee to look into the discrimination complaints received from the SC/ST/OBC students/Teachers and non-teaching staff.

In pursuance to the new regulation of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi (UGC) to install an online system to Lodge Complaints against the instances of Caste Based Discrimination, an online portal has been developed for the use of students/faculty/Non-teaching staff of Shri Sant Shankar Maharaj College of Agriculture, Pimpalkhuta.

They may register their grievances and concerns regarding SC/ST/OBC discrimination and any kind of caste related injustice online, so as to avail proper solutions for the inconveniences they had experienced.

Caste Based Discrimination Complaints system (CBDC) provides a platform for the authorities to curb caste-based discrimination at the Campus, hence maintain an environment of social equality. Below is the form to lodge a complaint.
